These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ResumeCrafter (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

ResumeCrafter is a tool that helps you create a resume by entering your information into a guided builder, which formats it into a downloadable PDF. The free version of the PDF includes a small watermark. You may pay a one-time fee to download a version without the watermark.

2. Your account and data

ResumeCrafter does not require account creation. Your resume draft is stored locally in your browser, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping your own copy of your finished resume — we do not retain it after you download it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Enter false information with intent to defraud an employer or third party
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Service's operation
• Attempt to bypass the payment system to access paid features without payment
• Use the Service to build content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes the rights of others

4. Payments and refunds

The watermark-removal feature costs a one-time fee of $2.99 USD, processed securely through Stripe. Because this unlocks a digital feature immediately upon successful payment, purchases are generally non-refundable once the clean PDF has been generated. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@resumecraft.app and we'll review it.

5. Accuracy of your resume content

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, and content of any resume you create using the Service. ResumeCrafter formats the information you provide; it does not verify, fact-check, or endorse it. We are not responsible for hiring decisions, interview outcomes, or any consequences arising from the use of a resume created with the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The ResumeCrafter name, branding, template design, and underlying software are owned by us. The content of your resume — your name, work history, and personal details — belongs to you. We claim no ownership over the information you enter.

7. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, including the template, pricing, or features, with or without notice.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that using ResumeCrafter will result in interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ResumeCrafter and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data (such as a resume draft) or loss of employment opportunities.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
